Love Is in the Air… and So Is Buyer Activity in Fresno County
As Valentine’s Day approaches, I wanted to share a little love and a quick market update because we’re seeing something exciting happening right now in Fresno County real estate.
💘 Buyers Are Coming Back
Over the past several weeks, we’ve seen a noticeable increase in buyer activity. More people are getting pre-approved, touring homes, and seriously considering making a move. Inventory has stabilized, and buyers are gaining confidence as they realize there are still great opportunities available.
📈 What About Interest Rates?
A question I hear often is: “Should I wait for rates to drop before buying?”
It’s a fair question, but here’s something important to consider.
When rates eventually come down, buyer demand usually goes up, which can push home prices higher due to increased competition. That’s why many buyers are choosing to purchase now, when there’s less competition, and plan to refinance later if and when rates drop.
✔️ Get into the home you love sooner
✔️ Build equity earlier
✔️ Refinance later when it makes sense
It’s a strategy that can work really well when done thoughtfully.
